There are lots of walks within Lincolnshire, in the countryside and in the town.  Lots of history to discover and muddy puddles to stomp around in.  Start with shorter walks leading to bigger ones.  Play games, eye spy, make journey sticks, mini races (who can reach that tree first?).

This website has a list of some of the walks available within the county, some in the hilly Lincolnshire Wolds, some in our historic towns and city.  Many of these will be signposted.  It'll be great to hear which one was your favourite!

CHeck in the descriptions whether the resource is suitable for your child - look for EYFS, KS1 or KS2 .

The National Trust works to protect buildings and land that are of significance to the areas they are in.  They are open to public and often have activities for families and always something to do wherever you go.  You can pay for a membership which gives you unlimited access in National Trust properties across the country.  Locally we have Belton House, Gunby Hall, Tattershall Castle and Woolsthorpe Manor (Sir Issac Newton's house).
